The value of a Funko Pop! Growlithe (SKU 597) varies significantly based on condition, with unopened boxes typically selling for around $10 to $15 and loose figures often trading for less. To authenticate a 2020 Growlithe Pop! (SKU 597), verify that the figure stands on a clear, square base with the "Funko" logo and the specific SKU number printed on the bottom. Check that the packaging is a standard Funko Pop! box with a window, and ensure the figure's paint application is consistent with the 2020 production run, which typically features a tan body, cream-colored chest and paws, and a brown mane. While Funko does not provide individual certificates of authenticity for standard retail releases, you can cross-reference the box art and figure design against official Funko product listings to confirm it matches the original release specifications.

To grade a Growlithe Pop! Games figure, you should submit it to a professional third-party grading service such as PSA, CGC, or Beckett, which will assign a numerical score based on factors like paint application, molding, and packaging integrity. For a self-condition check, inspect the figure under bright light for paint chips, scratches, or misaligned parts, and verify that the original box is free from significant dents, tears, or fading. Since this item is a 2020 release, be particularly aware of common defects like paint transfer or loose limbs that can lower its value.
