Common questions about the Gumbo Pop! Games from Funko (2023).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Gumbo Pop! Games figure is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item from Funko's 2023 release wave. It is a common variant that is widely available through major retailers and secondary markets, meaning it does not carry the scarcity premium associated with limited-edition or chase variants.
I cannot find reliable market data for a specific Funko Pop! Games item featuring Gumbo with SKU 887 from 2023. Funko Pop! Games are typically small, inexpensive collectible cards or mini-figures, and their value is generally determined by current retail prices rather than secondary market appreciation. Without verified sales records, it is not possible to provide a specific monetary valuation.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Gumbo (SKU 887), verify that the box displays the official Funko logo and the specific SKU number 887 on the side or back panel. Inspect the figure for consistent paint application, proper articulation of the joints, and the correct sculpting details characteristic of the 2023 release. While there is no single definitive "authenticity mark" on standard retail figures, significant deviations in weight, texture, or packaging quality compared to known genuine examples are strong indicators of a counterfeit.
The Gumbo Pop! Games was released in 2023 by Funko.
Funko does not publicly disclose specific print run statuses or real-time inventory data for individual Pop! Games items. Consequently, there is no reliable public information confirming whether the Gumbo Pop! Games (SKU 887) is currently in print or available for purchase as new.
Gumbo Pop! Games are vinyl figures that do not have a standardized third-party grading system comparable to trading cards or action figures, so their value is determined by general condition checks. To assess the item, inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, or mold lines, and verify that the packaging is intact with no tears, creases, or significant wear. Because these items are typically sold as new, any visible damage to the figure or box will significantly reduce its resale value.
