Common questions about the Gunnar Pop! Movies from Funko (2024).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Gunnar Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released by Funko in 2024 as part of their regular movie licensing line, meaning it was produced in large quantities and is widely available through major retailers.
The Gunnar Pop! Movies (SKU 1560) is a standard retail item with a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price of $12.99. As a common release without special features like glow-in-the-dark or metallic finishes, its value in the secondary market typically remains at or below retail price, often selling for less than $10.00 depending on local demand.
To authenticate your Gunnar Pop! Movies figure, first verify that the packaging displays the correct SKU 1560 and the 2024 release year, as these details should match the official Funko catalog. Inspect the figure for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting, and the standard Funko logo on the base, noting that genuine items typically feature high-quality vinyl with no visible mold lines or off-color shading. If the figure appears to be a third-party reproduction, check for discrepancies in the eyes, which are a common point of failure in counterfeits, and compare the item directly against high-resolution images from Funko’s official website.
The Gunnar Pop! Movies was released in 2024 by Funko.
I cannot find reliable information confirming that the Gunnar Pop! Movies (SKU 1560) is currently in print or available for purchase new from Funko. As a 2024 release, its availability may fluctuate, so checking Funko's official website or authorized retailers is recommended for the most current stock status.
Condition-checking a Gunnar Pop! Movie involves inspecting the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, or mold lines, and verifying that the eyes are properly seated and free of defects. You should also examine the packaging for any dents, tears, or seal damage, as the box condition significantly impacts the value of the item. For a formal grade, you would need to submit the sealed product to a third-party grading service, though most collectors simply assess the figure and box visually for resale purposes.
