No, the Hades Pop! Disney (SKU 381) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the Disney Villains line that was released in 2018 and remains widely available in retail stores and online marketplaces. While prices may fluctuate based on condition, it does not possess the scarcity of limited-edition or exclusive variants.
The value of the Hades Pop! Disney (SKU 381) fluctuates based on condition and market demand, but it typically sells for between $10 and $20 in retail stores. On the secondary market, sealed figures generally range from $15 to $25, while opened figures often sell for less than the original retail price. Prices can spike during periods of high demand for Disney Villains collections, so checking current listings on platforms like eBay or StockX is the best way to determine its exact worth at any given time.
You can authenticate your Funko Pop! Hades (SKU 381) by checking the bottom of the box for the official Funko logo, the "Made in China" marking, and a barcode that matches the product listing. The figure itself should have a smooth, consistent paint job with no visible seams, and the plastic should feel solid rather than thin or brittle. If the box is missing, you can verify the figure's authenticity by comparing its proportions and paint details against high-resolution images of the official release, as counterfeit versions often feature misaligned eyes or uneven color application.
The Hades Pop! Disney vinyl figure (SKU 381) was released in 2017 to coincide with the theatrical release of Disney's animated film *Moana*. It is part of the standard Disney Pop! line and is not a limited edition or exclusive variant.
Funko has discontinued the Hades Pop! Disney figure, so it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new directly from the manufacturer. While the item may occasionally appear in secondary markets like eBay or local collectible shops, availability is sporadic and prices are typically higher than the original retail cost.
To condition-check a Hades Pop! Disney, inspect the vinyl for any cracks, scratches, or paint imperfections, paying close attention to the face and the edges of the body. Verify that the figure is securely seated within its base and that the window on the box is free of significant scuffs or tears, as these factors heavily influence resale value. For a formal grade, you would need to submit the item to a professional grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on its overall condition.
