To authenticate your 2012 Sideshow Han Solo in Carbonite Environment, first verify the SKU 891172 on the box and check for the Sideshow Collectibles logo and copyright markings. Inspect the carbonite block for consistent resin texture and the specific pose of Han Solo, which should match the original 2012 release. Look for the "Sideshow" brand stamp on the base or packaging, and compare the figure's paint quality and sculpt details against known authentic examples. If the box shows signs of tampering or the resin feels lightweight or porous, it may be a replica.

To grade this piece, first inspect the carbonite block for cracks, chips, or clouding, as the resin material is prone to hairline fractures over time. Check the figure's paint for wear, particularly on the hands and face, and verify that the base is clean and free of scuffs. Since this is a 1/4 scale environment piece, also examine the lighting elements and any included accessories for missing parts or discoloration. If the item is in original packaging, ensure the box is free of dents, tears, or shelf wear, as this significantly impacts its collectible value.
