No, the Harry Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the 2017 release wave, and because it was widely distributed, it is generally available in new condition at common market prices.
The value of a 2017 Harry Pop! Movies figure (SKU 462) varies significantly based on its condition and whether it is sealed in its original box. As a standard, non-rare release from a major franchise, it typically sells for a modest price in the secondary market, often ranging from a few dollars to around ten dollars for a loose figure. Sealed boxes generally command a slightly higher premium, but this specific item is not considered a high-value collectible.
To authenticate your 2017 Harry Pop! (SKU 462), first verify that the figure stands on a clear, square base with the "Funko" logo and the number 462 printed on the bottom. Check the packaging for a holographic sticker, a barcode, and the correct copyright date, as the absence of these elements often indicates a counterfeit. Additionally, inspect the paint quality and seam lines, as genuine Funko figures typically have clean edges and consistent coloring, whereas fakes often feature sloppy painting or misaligned parts.

To grade a Harry Pop! Movies figure, you should have it evaluated by a professional third-party grading service such as PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on factors like paint condition, molding quality, and box integrity. For a casual condition check, inspect the figure for common defects such as paint chips, seam lines, or discoloration, and verify that the box is free of significant damage or wear.
