Common questions about the Hello Kitty 10" Pop! Sanrio from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Hello Kitty 10-inch Pop! Vinyl is not considered rare, as it is a standard mass-produced item from Funko’s Sanrio line. These figures are widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces, meaning they do not carry the scarcity premium associated with limited editions or discontinued variants.
The Hello Kitty 10" Pop! Vinyl Figure (SKU 79) typically retails for approximately $25 to $30 USD. As a standard production item that has been in circulation for many years, it generally does not command a premium price on the secondary market, with used copies often selling for $10 to $20 depending on condition.
To authenticate a Funko Pop! Hello Kitty 10" Sanrio figure, first inspect the packaging for the official Funko logo, the Sanrio licensing mark, and a valid UPC barcode. Examine the figure itself for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and a secure joint connection between the head and body, as counterfeits often feature sloppy paint lines or loose parts. You can also verify the SKU number on the box against Funko's official product database to ensure it matches the specific release. If the figure lacks these quality markers or the packaging appears generic, it is likely a counterfeit.
I cannot find reliable information confirming a specific release date for a 10-inch Hello Kitty Pop! Vinyl figure with SKU 79. Funko's standard Pop! Vinyl figures are typically 3.75 inches tall, and while larger 10-inch variants exist for some characters, the specific release timeline for this item is not clearly documented in available public records.
The Hello Kitty 10" Pop! Vinyl figure (SKU 79) is generally considered out of print and is no longer produced by Funko. While it may occasionally appear on secondary marketplaces like eBay or Amazon, it is not typically available for purchase directly from Funko or major retail stores as a new item.
To grade a Hello Kitty 10" Pop! Sanrio, you should inspect the vinyl surface for common manufacturing defects such as mold lines, paint overspray, or minor scuffs. Check the head for any misalignment with the body and ensure the eyes are symmetrical and free of scratches. While third-party grading services like PSA can provide an official condition score, most collectors assess these figures by eye under bright lighting to identify any visible flaws that would affect their value.
