Common questions about the Hello Kitty Pop! Sanrio from Funko (2023).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Hello Kitty Pop! Sanrio (SKU 70) is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item from the 2023 Sanrio collaboration line. It was widely available through major retailers and Funko's own channels, meaning supply was high and it is not a limited edition or special variant.
The Hello Kitty Pop! Sanrio (SKU 70) is a standard retail release from 2023, and its value is primarily determined by the secondary market. In new-in-box condition, these figures typically trade between $15 and $25, while used copies generally sell for $10 to $18. Because it is a common mass-produced item rather than a limited edition, its value remains stable but modest, with prices fluctuating based on current collector demand for Sanrio characters.
To authenticate your Hello Kitty Pop! Sanrio (SKU 70), first verify that the box is the standard Funko Pop! window box with the correct Sanrio branding and that the vinyl figure matches the 2023 release specifications. Check the bottom of the figure for the molded "Funko" logo and ensure the paint application is clean without major runs or gaps. Since this is a mass-produced item, authenticity is best confirmed by matching the figure's proportions and color scheme against official Funko product images, as counterfeit versions often differ in size or have lower-quality vinyl.
The Hello Kitty Pop! Sanrio was released in 2023 by Funko.
The Hello Kitty Pop! Sanrio (SKU 70) is currently out of print. It was part of the 2023 Sanrio collaboration and is no longer available for purchase as a new item from Funko. Collectors typically need to seek out remaining stock from third-party retailers or the secondary market.
To grade or condition-check a Hello Kitty Pop! Sanrio, first inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, or mold lines, paying close attention to the face and ears where defects are most visible. Check the base for scuffs or cracks, and verify that the figure is securely attached to its stand. For a formal grade, send the item to a professional grading service like PSA or Beckett, which will assign a numerical score based on these physical characteristics.
