Common questions about the Hello Kitty (Sky) Pop! Sanrio from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Hello Kitty (Sky) Pop! Sanrio is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko's Sanrio line, and its value is determined by its condition and market demand rather than limited production numbers.
The Hello Kitty (Sky) Pop! Sanrio is a standard production item, and its value is generally determined by current retail prices for new, sealed units, which typically range between $10 and $15. Because it is a common release, it does not command a significant premium in the secondary market, and prices for used or open figures are usually lower than the original retail cost.
I cannot determine the authenticity of your specific item without a physical inspection, as counterfeit Funko Pops are common. To authenticate the Hello Kitty (Sky) Pop! Sanrio, check that the box has a holographic sticker, the figure is made of solid vinyl with a smooth finish, and the paint application is clean without significant bleeding. Additionally, verify that the SKU 43 on the box matches the official Funko product listing and that the figure’s proportions and facial details align with genuine examples.
I cannot find reliable information confirming a specific release date for a Hello Kitty (Sky) Pop! Sanrio figure with SKU 43. Funko's SKU numbering system is not strictly chronological, and "Sky" is not a standard color variant name for the primary Hello Kitty Sanrio line, so I cannot provide a verified release date without speculating.
I cannot find reliable information confirming that the Hello Kitty (Sky) Pop! Sanrio is currently in print or available for purchase as a new item from Funko.
There is no standardized third-party grading service for Funko Pop! figures, so condition is assessed by the seller or buyer using common market descriptors such as "Mint," "Near Mint," or "Good." You should inspect the figure for specific defects including paint chips, scratches, and hairline cracks, with particular attention to the ears, tail, and the base of the figure where stress fractures often occur. Additionally, check the acrylic dome for scratches, cloudiness, or cracks, and verify that the figure is securely seated within the base without excessive wobble.
