The Hello Kitty Sweet Treat Pop! is not generally considered rare, as it is part of a standard mass-produced Funko Pop! line. It was released as part of the Sanrio collaboration and is widely available through major retailers and secondary markets. While specific production numbers are not always publicly disclosed, its widespread availability means it is an accessible collectible rather than a scarce item.
The Hello Kitty Sweet Treat Pop! is a standard retail Funko Pop! figure, and its value is primarily determined by its condition and whether it remains in the original box. As a mass-produced item, it typically trades near its original retail price when new in box, while used figures generally hold less value. Exact market prices fluctuate based on local demand, so checking recent sold listings on platforms like eBay or StockX will provide the most accurate current market value.
To authenticate your Hello Kitty Sweet Treat Pop! Sanrio, first verify the box seal and check for the official Funko logo and Sanrio licensing marks on the packaging. Examine the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, sharp edges, and the correct "Pop!" branding on the base. Compare the figure's proportions and color accuracy against official Sanrio design guidelines, as counterfeiters often introduce subtle differences in eye shape or accessory details. If the item lacks a verifiable SKU or batch code matching the manufacturer's records, or if the vinyl feels unusually lightweight or porous, it may be a replica.

The Hello Kitty Sweet Treat Pop! Sanrio is currently out of print. It was part of a limited-edition Sanrio collaboration, and while it is no longer produced by Funko, it remains available through the secondary market from resellers and collectors.
Grading a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the figure for common defects such as paint chips, scratches, or misaligned parts, and checking that the box is undamaged with the correct SKU (30) and edition details visible. For a formal grade, you would submit the figure to a third-party grading service like PSA or Beckett, which will assign a numerical score based on its condition. For a quick self-check, hold the figure under bright light to reveal surface imperfections and verify that the character's features match the official Sanrio design specifications.
