Common questions about the Hello Kitty with Balloon Pop! Sanrio from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Hello Kitty with Balloon Pop! Sanrio Pop! Vinyl figure (SKU 76) is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko's extensive Sanrio line and remains widely available through major retailers and secondary markets. While specific color variants or limited editions may have lower production numbers, the base figure is a common collectible.
There is no established market value for a "Hello Kitty with Balloon Pop!" Funko Pop, as this specific title and SKU 76 do not correspond to a known, released Sanrio figure in standard Funko catalogs. Funko SKU 76 typically refers to a different character, and the described item may be a misidentified product, a custom variant, or a non-existent listing. Without a verifiable product match, it is not possible to provide a reliable valuation.
To authenticate a Funko Pop! Hello Kitty with Balloon (SKU 76), first verify that the figure is made of vinyl and has the standard Funko Pop! logo on the base. Check the packaging for a holographic seal and ensure the SKU number on the box matches the official catalog listing for this specific release. If the figure has a certificate of authenticity, compare the serial number on the card to the one engraved on the figure's base. For definitive confirmation, consult Funko's official authentication service or a reputable third-party grading company, as counterfeit figures often exhibit poor paint quality, misaligned eyes, or incorrect proportions.
I cannot find reliable information confirming the specific release date for the Funko Pop! Hello Kitty with Balloon (SKU 76).
Funko has discontinued the Hello Kitty with Balloon Pop! Sanrio Pop! Vinyl figure, so it is no longer in print or available to buy new from official retailers. This item is now considered out of production, meaning new stock is no longer being manufactured or distributed by Funko.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, or mold lines, and verifying that the balloon accessory is intact and securely attached. You should also examine the box for any dents, tears, or shelf wear, as the packaging is a significant component of the item's value. For a formal grade, you can submit the figure to a third-party grading service, though many collectors prefer to simply document the condition with high-resolution photos of the figure and box from multiple angles.
