The Hello Kitty with Cake Pop! Sanrio Pop! Vinyl Figure is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production run by Funko. These figures are widely available through major retailers and secondary markets, meaning they do not possess the scarcity typically associated with limited editions or exclusive variants.
There is no single fixed market value for the Funko Hello Kitty with Cake Pop! Sanrio figure, as prices fluctuate based on condition, packaging integrity, and current collector demand. To determine its current worth, you should check recent completed sales on platforms like eBay or specialized collectibles marketplaces, as retail prices often differ significantly from what buyers are actually paying.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Hello Kitty with Cake Pop! Sanrio (SKU 89), first verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko holographic sticker and that the figure itself features the correct matte finish and paint application typical of genuine vinyl. Check the bottom of the figure for a molded copyright symbol and the year of manufacture, which should align with the release period for this specific Sanrio collaboration. If the vinyl feels overly soft, has sharp seams, or the paint is bleeding, it is likely a counterfeit. For definitive confirmation, you can compare the item against high-resolution images from Funko’s official catalog or consult a certified authentication service.

Condition grading for Funko Pop! figures is typically done on a scale from 1 to 10, where 10 represents a perfect, unopened figure in its original packaging. For a used figure, you should inspect the vinyl for scratches, paint chips, or warping, and check the box for any dents, tears, or missing parts like the cake pop accessory. Since this is a standard mass-produced item, professional third-party grading is rarely necessary unless you are dealing with a rare variant or a pristine sealed unit intended for high-value resale.
