Common questions about the Hello Kitty (With Noodles) Pop! Sanrio from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Hello Kitty (With Noodles) Pop! Sanrio is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from Funko's Sanrio line, and its common status is reflected in its low SKU number, which typically indicates an early release in a series rather than a limited edition. These figures are widely available through major retailers and secondary markets.
The Hello Kitty (With Noodles) Pop! Sanrio figure typically retails for approximately $12.99, which serves as the baseline for its value. In the secondary market, unopened figures generally trade at or slightly above this retail price, while opened figures usually sell for less than the original cost. Specific value can fluctuate based on condition, packaging integrity, and current collector demand, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay provides the most accurate current market price.
To authenticate your Hello Kitty (With Noodles) Pop! Sanrio, first verify that the box displays the official Funko logo and the specific SKU number 47 on the side panel. Inspect the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the correct articulation points, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing or loose joints. You can also cross-reference the product against official Funko release images to ensure the color scheme and accessory details match the genuine item.
I cannot find reliable information confirming a specific release date for a "Hello Kitty (With Noodles)" Pop! Vinyl figure with SKU 47. While Funko has released various Hello Kitty figures, this specific variant and SKU combination do not appear in standard production records, so I cannot provide a verified release date without speculating.
Funko has discontinued the Hello Kitty (With Noodles) Pop! Sanrio, meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from official retailers. Collectors seeking this specific figure must look for used copies on secondary markets, where prices may vary based on condition and demand.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, and molding defects, while also verifying that the eyes are properly aligned and the noodles accessory is intact and free from discoloration. For a formal grade, you should submit the figure to a professional third-party grading service such as Beckett, PSA, or CGC, which will evaluate the item based on standardized criteria for paint, eyes, and overall structural integrity. Note that the specific SKU 47 provided does not correspond to a standard catalog number for this specific Sanrio variant, so you should verify the exact product details before submitting it for grading.
