No, the Henrik Lundqvist Pop! Hockey figure is not considered rare. It was a standard production release from Funko's 2016 NHL collection, meaning it was widely distributed and is generally easy to find in new or used condition. While specific variants like Chills or Exclusive editions may be harder to locate, the standard SKU 04 figure remains a common collectible.
The value of a 2016 Henrik Lundqvist Funko Pop! Hockey figure varies significantly based on condition, with unopened factory-sealed boxes typically trading between $15 and $30. Opened figures in good condition generally sell for less, often in the range of $5 to $15. Prices fluctuate based on current market demand and the specific retailer, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay provides the most accurate real-time valuation.
To authenticate your 2016 Henrik Lundqvist Pop! Hockey figure, first verify that the packaging features the correct Funko logo and that the figure itself displays the standard Pop! vinyl texture and proportions. Check the base of the figure for the molded "Funko" logo and ensure the paint application is clean without significant bleeding, which is common in counterfeits. While specific SKU numbers are not typically printed on the figure itself, you can cross-reference the box art and character pose against official Funko release records for the 2016 NHL line to confirm accuracy. If the figure feels unusually heavy, light, or has poor paint quality, it may be a replica, so consulting a Funko authentication service or comparing it side-by-side with a verified original is recommended.

The Henrik Lundqvist Pop! Hockey figure is no longer in print and is not available for purchase new from Funko. As a 2016 release, it has been discontinued, meaning any new copies found on the market are likely resold items rather than current production stock.
To condition-check a Henrik Lundqvist Pop! Hockey figure, inspect the vinyl surface for any cracks, chips, or paint imperfections, paying close attention to the helmet, stick, and facial features. Verify that the figure is securely seated on its base and that the packaging is intact, as the box condition significantly impacts the item's value. For a formal grade, you can submit the figure to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on its physical condition.
