Common questions about the Hershey's Pop! Foodies from Funko (2023).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Hershey's Pop! Foodies figure (SKU 197) is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production run released in 2023. These figures are widely available through major retailers and secondary markets, meaning they do not carry the scarcity premium associated with limited editions or exclusive releases.
The value of a new, sealed Hershey's Pop! Foodies figure (SKU 197) typically ranges from $10 to $20, which is standard for most Funko Pop! Foodies releases. Because this is a mass-produced item from 2023, it does not command a premium price on the secondary market unless it is part of a complete set. Prices may fluctuate slightly based on current local stock availability, but it is generally considered a common collectible.
To authenticate your 2023 Hershey's Pop! Foodies (SKU 197), first verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko holographic sticker and that the figure is made of solid vinyl with a matte finish. Check the base of the figure for a clear, legible copyright stamp that reads "© Funko Inc." along with the year and SKU number. If the paint is chipped, the vinyl feels soft or rubbery, or the packaging lacks the standard Funko branding, the item is likely a counterfeit.
The Hershey's Pop! Foodies was released in 2023 by Funko.
Funko Pop! Foodies series, including the Hershey's figure, are generally produced in limited runs and are not typically kept in continuous print. While specific availability can fluctuate, this item is often sold out at major retailers and is frequently only available through the secondary market or Funko's own online shop if restocked.
You can grade a Hershey's Pop! Foodies by submitting the figure and its sealed box to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on the condition of the vinyl and packaging. For a self-condition check, inspect the figure for common defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, and surface scratches, while verifying that the box is free of dents, creases, and shelf wear. Note that the value of the item is significantly higher when the figure remains in its original, unopened packaging.
