The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Hester Shaw Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released in 2019 as part of the *Atomic Blonde* movie line, and it was widely available through major retailers at launch. While sealed copies may command a premium over open ones, the figure itself is a common collectible with a large production run.
The Hester Shaw Pop! Movies figure (SKU 679) is a standard mass-market vinyl collectible, and its value is primarily determined by whether it is new in box or opened. In new-in-box condition, these figures typically retail for between $10 and $15, while opened copies generally sell for less, often in the range of $5 to $8, depending on their cosmetic condition.
To authenticate your Hester Shaw Pop! Movies figure, first verify that the box displays the official Funko logo and the specific SKU number 679, which corresponds to the 2019 release. Inspect the figure for consistent paint application, proper articulation, and the standard Funko branding on the base, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing or poor plastic quality. If the packaging and figure details align with these official specifications, the item is likely genuine, though consulting a certified authentication service is recommended if you have specific doubts about its provenance.
The Hester Shaw Pop! Movies was released in 2019 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Hester Shaw Pop! Movies figure (SKU 679), so it is no longer in print or available to purchase new from the manufacturer. While it may occasionally appear as a used item on secondary markets, you cannot buy a sealed, new copy directly from Funko.
To condition-check a Hester Shaw Pop! Movies figure, inspect the vinyl surface for any cracks, scratches, or paint chips, paying close attention to the head and limbs which are prone to stress. Verify that the figure is properly seated within the window box and that the packaging is free from significant damage, as this affects its collectible value. While third-party grading services exist for Pop! figures, most collectors perform a visual inspection for flaws and check for the presence of the original box and any included accessories.
