The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Horde Trooper Pop! Retro Toys figure is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard retail release by Funko in 2021. Because it was widely available through general distribution channels rather than limited to exclusive conventions or special production runs, it is a common item in the secondary market.
The Horde Trooper Pop! Retro Toys figure (SKU 87) is a standard retail collectible that typically trades in the secondary market for approximately $10 to $15, assuming it is in mint condition with its original box. As a common item from a 2021 release, it does not command a premium price above its original retail value.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Retro Toys Horde Trooper, verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko holographic sticker and that the figure itself features the correct matte finish and color scheme for the 2021 release. Check the bottom of the figure for the standard Funko logo and copyright date, and ensure the packaging matches the official SKU 87 design. If the paint job appears sloppy, the plastic feels brittle, or the box lacks proper branding, the item may be a counterfeit.
The Horde Trooper Pop! Retro Toys was released in 2021 by Funko.
The Horde Trooper Pop! Retro Toys figure is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As a 2021 release, it is considered a discontinued item, meaning any new purchases must be sourced from the secondary market.
Grading a Funko Pop! figure involves inspecting the vinyl for surface scratches, paint imperfections, and seam lines, while also verifying that the box is free of dents, tears, or shelf wear. For a professional grade, you would submit the item to a third-party certification service like PSA, which assigns a numerical score based on specific condition criteria. However, for most collectors, a simple visual inspection of the figure and packaging is sufficient to determine its market value without the cost of professional grading.
