Common questions about the Hyenas - Banzai, Shenzi, Ed Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
There is no official data indicating that the Hyenas - Banzai, Shenzi, Ed Pop! Disney figure is rare, as it is a standard production item from the Disney line. Like most standard Funko Pop! releases, its availability fluctuates based on current demand and stock levels, but it is not considered a limited edition or exclusive variant.
The Hyenas - Banzai, Shenzi, Ed Pop! Disney figure is a standard retail release, and its value is typically determined by its condition and whether it is sold in the box. As an unopened, in-box item, it generally retails for approximately $10 to $15, while a loose figure usually commands a lower price, often between $5 and $10. Because this is not a limited edition or exclusive variant, it does not carry a significant premium in the secondary market.
To authenticate your Hyenas Pop! Disney figure, first examine the packaging for the official Funko logo, the "Pop! Disney" branding, and a barcode that matches the specific product listing. Inspect the figure itself for high-quality paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the correct Funko window box design, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing, uneven paint, or poor plastic quality. If the box includes a holographic sticker or a specific edition number, verify that these elements align with known authentic production runs for this character.
I cannot find reliable information confirming a specific release date for a single Funko Pop! figure featuring all three hyenas (Banzai, Shenzi, and Ed) together in one box. While Funko has released individual figures of these characters and various group sets over the years, the specific "Hyenas - Banzai, Shenzi, Ed" item described does not appear in standard Funko release databases with a definitive launch date.
I cannot verify the current real-time print status of this specific Funko Pop! figure, as availability fluctuates frequently based on regional stock and retailer inventory. I recommend checking the official Funko website or major authorized retailers such as Target, Walmart, or Amazon to confirm if the item is currently listed for sale.
There is no official third-party grading service for Funko Pop! figures, so you cannot obtain a certified grade for this item. To assess its condition, inspect the vinyl for scratches, paint chips, or mold seams, and verify that the eyes are properly aligned and free of clouding. Check the box for any damage, as a sealed, mint-condition box significantly impacts value compared to an opened figure.
