The Sideshow Collectibles Imperial Probe Droid released in 2014 is not considered rare, as it was a standard mass-production figure with a large initial print run. While original factory-sealed copies may command a premium in the secondary market due to age, the item itself is widely available and does not possess the limited-edition status that defines true rarity.

Sideshow Collectibles did not release a product specifically titled "Imperial Probe Droid" in 2014, as their 2014 Star Wars releases focused on characters like Darth Vader, Boba Fett, and Han Solo. Consequently, if you possess an item with this specific title and date, it is likely a misidentified product, a third-party reproduction, or a custom piece rather than an authentic Sideshow release. To authenticate it, you should examine the packaging for the official Sideshow logo, check for a unique serial number on the base or box, and compare the sculpting and paint quality against verified images of actual 2014 Sideshow figures.
The Imperial Probe Droid was released in 2014 by Sideshow Collectibles.
The Sideshow Collectibles Imperial Probe Droid released in 2014 is a limited edition figure that is no longer in production. It is not available to buy new from the manufacturer and is currently only obtainable through the secondary market, such as auction sites or private collectors.
Sideshow Collectibles does not issue official condition grades for its 1/6th scale figures, so there is no standardized numerical rating system to reference. To assess the condition of a 2014 Imperial Probe Droid, you should inspect the figure for common issues such as paint transfer on the legs, scuffing on the metal probe, and the integrity of the fabric cape and cable. Since this item is a vintage release, you should also check for yellowing of the plastic and verify that all accessories, including the blaster and display stand, are present and undamaged.
