The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The 2009 Sideshow Collectibles Imperial Shock Trooper is not considered rare, as it was part of a widely distributed standard retail line rather than a limited production run. These figures were commonly available through major retailers and comic shops at the time of release, making them relatively easy to find on the secondary market today.
The Imperial Shock Trooper originally retailed for $89.99. Live secondary-market data isn't indexed yet — check eBay sold listings for current value.
The 2009 Imperial Shock Trooper by Sideshow Collectibles is a licensed Star Wars collectible figure, not a genuine military uniform or historical artifact. To authenticate the item, verify that it bears the official Sideshow Collectibles logo and copyright markings, and check for the specific 2009 release details on the packaging or base. You can further confirm its authenticity by comparing the figure's sculpting, paint quality, and articulation points against verified images from Sideshow's official archives or reputable collector databases.
The Imperial Shock Trooper was released in 2009 by Sideshow Collectibles.
The Sideshow Collectibles Imperial Shock Trooper from 2009 is a discontinued product and is no longer in print. It is not available to buy new from the manufacturer, so collectors must seek it out through the secondary market, such as online auction sites or specialty toy dealers.
Sideshow Collectibles did not release a figure specifically titled "Imperial Shock Trooper" in 2009, as the company is primarily known for 1/6th scale Star Wars figures and the term "Shock Trooper" is not standard nomenclature for their 2009 lineup. You may be confusing this with a specific Stormtrooper variant from a different manufacturer, such as Hasbro, or a different Sideshow figure released in a different year. I cannot provide reliable grading criteria for this specific item because the described product does not appear to exist in official release records.
