The Indominus Rex 5" Pop! Games figure is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item released by Funko in 2024. It is widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces, meaning it does not carry the scarcity premium associated with limited editions or exclusive variants.
I cannot find reliable information regarding the specific market value of the Indominus Rex 5" Pop! Games figure (SKU 1005). As a 2024 release, its price is likely close to its original retail cost, but accurate valuation requires checking current listings on secondary marketplaces like eBay or StockX for recent sold prices.
To authenticate your Indominus Rex 5" Pop! Games figure, first verify that the box features the official Funko logo and the correct SKU number 1005 on the back. Inspect the figure for high-quality paint application, sharp sculpting details, and a secure, well-fitted head joint, as counterfeit versions often exhibit sloppy painting or loose parts. You can also cross-reference the packaging design and product images against the official Funko website or reputable retailer listings to ensure the box art and specifications match the 2024 release.

Funko has not officially announced a discontinuation for the Indominus Rex 5" Pop! Games figure, so it is technically still in print. However, availability for this specific 2024 release is often limited to direct sales through the Funko website or select retail partners, and stock levels fluctuate frequently. You should check the current inventory on the official Funko site to confirm if it is available for immediate purchase.
Funko Pop! figures are not typically graded by major third-party authentication services like PSA, which primarily focus on trading cards, comics, and sports memorabilia. For condition checking, you should inspect the figure yourself for common defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, head misalignment, or damage to the box, as these factors significantly impact resale value. If you are seeking a formal valuation, you can consult online marketplaces like eBay to compare prices of similar items in varying conditions, but a professional grading certificate is not standard practice for this type of collectible.
