The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, this item is not considered rare. It is a standard Special Edition release from Funko's 2023 Fantastik Plastik line, which was widely distributed to retailers and sold in large quantities. While special editions are generally less common than standard vinyl figures, this specific item does not have a limited production run that would classify it as rare in the collectibles market.
The Jack Carver Pop! [Fantastik Plastik] Special-Edition is a limited release from 2023, and its value fluctuates based on condition and market demand. While specific real-time pricing requires checking current listings on secondary marketplaces like eBay, Funko SEs typically command a premium over standard figures, often ranging from $30 to $60 or more depending on whether the item is new in box.
To authenticate your Jack Carver Pop!, verify that the box features the specific "Fantastik Plastik" branding and the Special Edition logo, and confirm the figure itself has the correct sculpt details and paint application consistent with the 2023 release. Check the bottom of the figure for a clear, legible copyright stamp and ensure the packaging seal is intact if you are evaluating it as new. If you are unable to verify these specific manufacturing details against known authentic examples, I cannot confirm its authenticity without physical inspection.

The Jack Carver Pop! [Fantastik Plastik] Special Edition is a limited-run item that is no longer in print. It is generally unavailable to buy new from primary sources like Funko or major retailers, meaning it can only be found on the secondary market.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! Special Edition primarily involves inspecting the figure for common defects such as paint overspray, mold lines, or scratches, as well as verifying that the box is free of dents, tears, or significant wear. Because Special Editions are often limited and highly sought after, any visible imperfections on the vinyl figure or its packaging can significantly impact its market value compared to a pristine, unopened item. While third-party grading services like PSA can provide a standardized condition score, many collectors prefer to evaluate these items visually based on the presence of original packaging and the absence of physical flaws.
