Common questions about the Jack Skellington (Blacklight) Pop! Disney from Funko (2022).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Jack Skellington (Blacklight) Pop! is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-produced release in 2022. Blacklight variants are common in the Funko Disney line and are widely available in the secondary market. Its value is typically comparable to other standard or minor special edition figures from that year, rather than being a limited or exclusive item.
The value of a new, sealed Jack Skellington (Blacklight) Pop! Disney figure from 2022 typically ranges from $10 to $15, which is close to its original retail price. Because this is a standard release rather than a limited edition, it does not command a significant premium on the secondary market. Prices may fluctuate slightly based on current local availability and shipping costs, but it generally does not appreciate significantly in value.
There is no reliable evidence that Funko produced a specific "Blacklight" variant of the Jack Skellington Pop! with SKU 15 in 2022. SKU 15 is the standard catalog number for the original Jack Skellington figure, which was released in 2017 and re-released in subsequent years, but it is not a blacklight-exclusive item. If your figure glows under UV light, it is likely a custom paint job, a third-party modification, or a counterfeit, as Funko does not typically produce blacklight variants for this specific character in that SKU. To authenticate a standard Pop!, you should verify that the box is sealed with a holographic sticker, the figure has a smooth finish without paint bleed, and the base is stamped with the correct copyright year and "Made in China" text.
The Jack Skellington (Blacklight) Pop! Disney was released in 2022 by Funko.
The Jack Skellington (Blacklight) Pop! Disney figure is no longer in print and is not available for purchase new from Funko. As a limited-edition blacklight variant released in 2022, it has been discontinued, meaning new copies are no longer produced by the manufacturer.
To condition-check a Jack Skellington (Blacklight) Pop!, first inspect the vinyl for any cracks, chips, or paint flaws under normal lighting, paying close attention to the thin bones and facial features. Then, use a UV blacklight to verify that the specific glow-in-the-dark elements, such as the eyes and costume details, illuminate correctly and evenly. Finally, examine the box for any dents, creases, or sticker damage, as the packaging condition significantly impacts the item's value for collectors.
