The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Jack Skellington (Blacklight) Pop! Disney is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production run released in 2022. While blacklight variants are generally less common than standard figures, this specific SKU was widely distributed and is readily available on the secondary market.
The base retail price for the 2022 Jack Skellington (Blacklight) Pop! Vinyl (SKU 717) was approximately $12.99. As a standard production item from a major manufacturer, its value generally remains at or near retail price, with minor fluctuations depending on local availability and condition. There is no significant collector premium for this specific figure, so it is not typically worth significantly more than its original sticker price.
To authenticate your 2022 Jack Skellington Blacklight Pop! (SKU 717), first verify that the figure is accompanied by the original Funko box, which should display the correct SKU, the "Blacklight" branding, and a holographic security sticker on the seal. Inspect the vinyl for consistent paint application and sharp sculpting details, as counterfeit figures often exhibit sloppy molding, off-colors, or missing blacklight-reactive pigments. If the packaging and physical quality appear correct, the item is likely genuine, though definitive verification for high-value items may require consultation with a certified authentication service.
The Jack Skellington (Blacklight) Pop! Disney was released in 2022 by Funko.
The Jack Skellington (Blacklight) Pop! Disney (SKU 717) is currently out of print and no longer available for purchase as a new item directly from Funko. While it may occasionally appear on secondary markets like eBay or Amazon, it is not part of Funko's current active production lineup.
Condition-checking a blacklight variant like this primarily involves inspecting the figure under normal lighting for standard defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, or scratches, as the UV-reactive coating does not alter the physical grading criteria. You should verify that the figure is free of any visible damage to the plastic and that the eyes are properly aligned, since the blacklight effect is a surface finish that does not impact the structural integrity assessed by grading services. There is no separate "blacklight grade" scale; the item is evaluated on the same condition metrics as standard vinyl figures.
