Common questions about the Jack Skellington & Oogie Boogie Pop! Minis from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Jack Skellington & Oogie Boogie Pop! Minis are not considered rare. They are standard production items released by Funko as part of their regular lineup, meaning they are widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces. While specific variants like exclusive editions or misprints may have lower production numbers, the standard version of this figure is common and easily accessible for most collectors.
The value of Jack Skellington & Oogie Boogie Pop! Minis varies significantly based on condition, with unopened sealed boxes typically commanding a premium over loose figures. While specific market prices fluctuate, these items generally trade within the standard range for common Funko Pop! Minis, often between $10 and $25 per figure when loose. I cannot provide a precise current market value without real-time sales data, so I recommend checking recent completed listings on platforms like eBay for the most accurate pricing.
I cannot verify the authenticity of a specific physical item without inspecting it in person. To authenticate a Funko Pop! Mini, check for the official Funko logo and copyright information on the packaging, ensure the vinyl figure has a smooth finish without visible mold lines, and verify that the SKU 05 matches the official product listing for the Jack Skellington & Oogie Boogie set. If the item was purchased from an authorized retailer, it is highly likely to be genuine, but any signs of poor paint application or misaligned parts should prompt you to contact the seller for a return or exchange.
I cannot find reliable information confirming a specific release date for a Funko Pop! Mini featuring both Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie together. While Funko has released individual Pop! Minis for both characters, the specific dual-character SKU 05 does not appear in standard release databases, so I cannot verify its existence or release timeline without speculating.
Funko Pop! Minis are generally produced in limited print runs and are not permanently in print. Consequently, the Jack Skellington & Oogie Boogie set is likely no longer available for purchase new directly from Funko or major retail partners. Availability for new, unopened figures is typically limited to the secondary market, where prices often exceed the original retail value.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! Mini involves inspecting the figure for surface scratches, paint chips, and mold lines, while verifying that the eyes are properly aligned and the base is free of cracks. For a formal grade, you should submit the item to a third-party authentication service like PSA, which will evaluate the figure's overall quality and assign a numerical score based on specific defect criteria.
