No, the Jack Torrance Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the 2017 release of the *The Shining* movie line, and it remains widely available in both new and used condition.
The value of a 2017 Jack Torrance Funko Pop! (SKU 456) varies significantly based on condition and market fluctuations, but it generally trades between $15 and $30 for a sealed figure. Prices for open figures are typically lower, often ranging from $8 to $15. For the most accurate current valuation, checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay is recommended, as collectible prices change frequently.
To authenticate your 2017 Jack Torrance Pop! (SKU 456), first verify that the figure is made of vinyl with a matte finish and that the box features the standard Funko branding and holographic sticker. Check the bottom of the figure for a molded copyright symbol and the year 2017, as genuine items from this era typically include this date stamp. Compare the specific sculpt details, such as the hair texture and facial expression, against high-resolution images of the authentic product, noting that counterfeit versions often have uneven paint application or incorrect proportions. If the packaging appears worn or the figure lacks the proper mold marks, it may be a reproduction, so consulting a Funko authentication service or comparing it to a verified original is recommended for final confirmation.
The Jack Torrance Pop! Movies was released in 2017 by Funko.
