The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The James Bond from Casino Royale Pop! Movies (SKU 689) is not considered rare, as it was a standard mass-produced release from 2019. It was widely available in retail stores and online marketplaces during its production run, meaning unopened figures are still relatively common on the secondary market.
The value of a new, sealed James Bond from Casino Royale Pop! Movies figure (SKU 689) typically ranges from $10 to $15, while used copies in good condition generally sell for $5 to $8. As a standard production item from 2019, it does not command a premium price in the secondary market. Prices can fluctuate slightly based on current local demand and the specific condition of the packaging.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! #689 James Bond from Casino Royale, first verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko holographic sticker and that the figure itself is made of solid vinyl with a matte finish. Check the base for the correct "Funko" logo and ensure the paint application is clean, as poor paint jobs or plastic seams are common signs of counterfeits. You can also compare the specific facial features and suit details against official Funko product images, noting that the 2019 release typically features a black suit with a white shirt and tie. If the figure feels lightweight, has a glossy plastic sheen, or lacks the proper branding on the base, it is likely a replica.
The James Bond from Casino Royale Pop! Movies was released in 2019 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the James Bond from Casino Royale Pop! Movies figure (SKU 689), so it is no longer in print. This item is no longer available to buy new directly from Funko or major retail partners. Collectors must seek out the figure on the secondary market, such as eBay or specialty toy shops, where prices typically exceed the original retail value.
To grade a Funko Pop! figure, you should have it professionally evaluated by a third-party service such as PSA, CGC, or Beckett, which will assign a numerical score based on the condition of the paint, seams, and packaging. For a casual condition check, inspect the figure under bright light for paint chips, seam lines, or scuffs, and verify that the original box is free of significant damage or fading. Since this specific SKU was released in 2019, ensure the figure is the correct version by checking the base and packaging details against known production records.
