Common questions about the Jason Blum Pop! Movies from Funko (2019).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Jason Blum Pop! Movies figure (SKU 794) is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released by Funko in 2019 and was widely available through major retailers. Because it was not a limited edition or exclusive variant, it remains common in the secondary market.
The standard Jason Blum Pop! Movies figure (SKU 794) typically retails for $10, and its value in the secondary market generally hovers around that retail price for new, sealed items. Because this is a common, non-exclusive figure from a 2019 release, it does not command a significant premium over its original retail price.
To authenticate your 2019 Jason Blum Pop! Movies figure (SKU 794), first verify that the packaging features the standard Funko branding, a holographic seal, and a scannable QR code on the back. Examine the figure itself for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting, and the correct window cutout, as counterfeit items often exhibit blurry details or off-color vinyl. You can further confirm authenticity by scanning the QR code with the official Funko app, which should link to the specific product listing, and by checking the bottom of the figure for the molded "Funko" logo.
The Jason Blum Pop! Movies was released in 2019 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Jason Blum Pop! Movies figure, so it is no longer in print or available to buy new from the manufacturer. This item is now considered out of print, and collectors typically seek out used copies on secondary markets.
To condition-check a Jason Blum Pop! Movies figure, inspect the vinyl surface for common defects such as mold lines, paint overspray, or chipped details on the head and accessories. Verify that the eyes are properly aligned and that the figure stands upright without leaning, as warping can occur over time. For a formal grade, you would need to submit the item to a third-party grading service, though most standard Pop! figures are not typically graded for investment purposes due to their mass production and lower individual value.
