Common questions about the Jason Voorhees Pop! Movies from Funko (2015).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Jason Voorhees Pop! Movies (SKU 202) is not considered rare, as it was a standard mass-production release from Funko's 2015 catalog. Because it was widely available in retail stores and online during its initial release window, it remains a common item in the secondary market. Collectors generally do not assign a premium value to this figure based on scarcity alone.
The value of a 2015 Jason Voorhees Pop! Movies figure (SKU 202) varies significantly based on condition and packaging. An unopened, sealed figure typically sells for between $10 and $20, while a loose figure in good condition generally ranges from $5 to $10. Prices can fluctuate depending on current market demand and the specific state of the item.
To authenticate a 2015 Jason Voorhees Pop! Movies figure (SKU 202), first examine the packaging for the official Funko logo, the "Movies" series branding, and the specific SKU number printed on the box. The figure itself should feature the standard vinyl material with a glossy finish, and the base should be securely attached with a clear plastic window on the box front. Be aware that while the original 2015 release is common, counterfeit versions exist, so look for poor paint application, misaligned eyes, or blurry printing on the box as signs of a fake. If the box is missing or damaged, verifying the figure's proportions and the specific sculpt details against high-resolution images of the authentic 2015 release is the most reliable method.
The Jason Voorhees Pop! Movies was released in 2015 by Funko.
The Jason Voorhees Pop! Movies figure (SKU 202) is currently out of print and is no longer available to buy new directly from Funko. Because it was released in 2015 and has not been reissued, the only way to acquire a new-in-box copy is through the secondary market, such as online resale platforms or local collectibles shops.
Condition-checking a Jason Voorhees Pop! involves inspecting the figure for common defects such as paint overspray, chipped plastic, or loose joints, with particular attention to the mask and machete. You should also verify that the figure is undamaged and free of significant scratches, as these factors directly impact its market value. For a formal grade, the figure must be submitted to a professional third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on its physical state.
