Common questions about the Jason Voorhees Pop! Movies from Funko (2016).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Jason Voorhees Pop! Movies (SKU 361) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the 2016 release wave that was widely distributed to major retail stores. Because it was a common mass-market item, it is generally easy to find in new condition and does not carry a scarcity premium compared to limited edition or exclusive variants.
The standard Jason Voorhees Pop! Movies figure (SKU 361) typically retails for approximately $12.00 to $15.00 in new, sealed condition. Because this is a common, mass-produced release from 2016, it does not command a significant premium over retail price, and used copies often sell for less than the original retail cost.
To authenticate your 2016 Jason Voorhees Pop! Movies figure (SKU 361), verify that the box features the standard Funko Pop! branding and that the figure itself is made of vinyl with the characteristic glossy finish and painted details. Check that the base is solid and the eyes are correctly proportioned, as counterfeit versions often feature duller paint, misaligned parts, or plastic bases. While there is no unique serial number on standard retail figures, comparing the specific paint application and box artwork against official Funko product images is the most reliable method for confirming authenticity.
The Jason Voorhees Pop! Movies was released in 2016 by Funko.
The Jason Voorhees Pop! Movies figure (SKU 361) is currently out of print and no longer available for purchase new from Funko or major retail partners. Because it was released in 2016 and has not been reissued, collectors seeking a new copy must rely on the secondary market, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
There is no official grading service for Funko Pop! figures, so you should assess the condition yourself by inspecting the figure for common defects such as paint chips, scratches, or misaligned parts. Check the box for any damage, as the packaging is a significant factor in resale value, and note that the 2016 release of SKU 361 is a standard edition that does not require specialized authentication.
