The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Jason Voorhees Pop! Movies (SKU 361) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the 2016 release wave that was widely distributed to major retailers. Because it was not a limited edition, exclusive, or chase variant, it remains readily available on the secondary market.
The value of the 2016 Jason Voorhees Pop! Movies (SKU 361) varies significantly based on condition and market demand, typically ranging from $10 to $25 for a standard, unopened figure in retail packaging. Because this is a common release from a major franchise, it does not command a premium price over its original retail cost, and prices for open figures are generally lower. For the most accurate current valuation, checking recent sold listings on platforms like eBay is recommended.
To authenticate your 2016 Jason Voorhees Pop! Movies (SKU 361), first verify that the box is sealed with a holographic sticker and that the figure itself features the correct paint application and sculpt details for that specific release. Check the bottom of the figure for the "Funko" logo and the year "2016" molded into the plastic, as missing or incorrect markings are common indicators of counterfeits. Additionally, compare the figure's proportions and color scheme against high-resolution images of the official release, noting that authentic Funko figures typically have a smooth, matte finish without excessive gloss or rough seams.
The Jason Voorhees Pop! Movies was released in 2016 by Funko.
The Jason Voorhees Pop! Movies (SKU 361) is currently out of print and is no longer produced by Funko. While it is not available to purchase new from the manufacturer, unopened copies can occasionally be found on secondary markets such as eBay or Amazon, though prices may vary significantly based on availability.
There is no official grading service for Funko Pop! figures, so you should assess the condition yourself by inspecting the vinyl for scratches, paint chips, and mold lines. Check the box for any damage, as the packaging is a significant factor in resale value, and verify that the figure is the correct 2016 release with SKU 361. If the item is in pristine, unopened condition, it is generally considered "Mint" by collectors, but any visible defects will lower its market value.
