Common questions about the Jeff Hanneman Pop! Rocks from Funko (2020).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Jeff Hanneman Pop! Rocks figure is not considered rare. It was part of a standard, mass-produced Funko Pop! Rocks series released in 2020, meaning it was widely available to the general public and is not a limited edition or exclusive item.
The Jeff Hanneman Pop! Rocks (SKU 155) is a standard mass-produced vinyl figure that typically retails for under $15. Because it was released in 2020 and is not a limited edition, its value is generally limited to its original retail price or slightly less on the secondary market. It does not command a premium over its face value unless it is in a sealed, unopened box.
Jeff Hanneman Pop! Rocks were not produced by Funko in 2020, as the company's vinyl figure line did not include a figure of this specific character during that period. Consequently, any item marketed as a 2020 Funko Pop! Rocks with SKU 155 is likely a misidentified product, a counterfeit, or a confusion with a different manufacturer's line. I cannot provide authentication steps for a figure that does not appear to exist in Funko's official catalog for that year.
The Jeff Hanneman Pop! Rocks was released in 2020 by Funko.
The Jeff Hanneman Pop! Rocks figure (SKU 155) is currently out of print and is no longer available for purchase new from Funko. As a 2020 release, it is considered a discontinued item, meaning any remaining stock is limited to third-party resellers or the secondary market.
Jeff Hanneman Pop! Rocks are typically sold as sealed vinyl figures in standard blind boxes, so the primary condition check involves inspecting the outer packaging for tears, dents, or tampering. If the figure is unboxed, examine the vinyl surface for scratches, paint chips, or discoloration, and verify that the character's pose and accessories are intact. Because these items are generally not third-party graded like trading cards, their value is determined by the condition of the box and the figure itself, with sealed, mint-condition boxes commanding the highest prices.
