No, the Jim Stark Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released by Funko in 2024 as part of their regular movie licensing line, meaning it is widely available through major retailers and secondary markets.
The value of a Jim Stark Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1724) varies significantly based on its condition, whether it is sealed in the box, and current market demand. As a 2024 release, it is likely still available at retail, meaning its value is generally close to its original retail price, typically ranging between $10 and $15. To determine the precise current market value, you should check recent completed sales on secondary marketplaces like eBay.
To authenticate your Jim Stark Pop! Movies figure, first verify that the packaging includes the correct SKU number 1724 and the 2024 release date. Examine the physical figure for consistent paint application, sharp molding details, and the standard Funko logo on the base, as counterfeit items often exhibit blurry printing or uneven seams. If you purchased the item from an authorized retailer, it is highly likely to be genuine, but you can confirm authenticity by comparing the figure against high-resolution images from Funko's official website or contacting their customer support team with photos of the item.

I cannot find reliable information confirming that the Jim Stark Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1724) is currently in print or available for purchase new from Funko. As a 2024 release, it may have been discontinued or is simply out of stock, so checking current inventory on Funko's official website or authorized retailers is the best way to verify its availability.
There is no official third-party grading service for standard Funko Pops, so you should evaluate the condition yourself by inspecting the figure for paint defects, scratches, or mold lines. Check that the eyes are properly aligned and the plastic is free of cracks, as these are common issues that significantly impact value. If you require a certified appraisal for insurance or high-value resale, you can submit the item to a general collectibles grading company, but be aware that this is not standard practice for typical retail Funko figures.
