Common questions about the Jimmy Carter Pop! Icons from Funko (2020).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Jimmy Carter Pop! Icons figure is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production run released in 2020. Unlike limited-edition variants, standard SKU 48 figures were widely distributed through major retailers and Funko's own channels, making them relatively easy to find in new condition.
The standard retail price for the Jimmy Carter Pop! Icons vinyl figure was $14.99. As a mass-produced item from 2020, it typically does not command a premium on the secondary market and usually sells for at or below its original retail price. Values can vary slightly based on condition, but it is generally considered a common collectible rather than a high-value investment.
Authenticating a Jimmy Carter Pop! Icons figure from 2020 involves checking for specific quality markers such as a smooth, uniform paint job, crisp logo printing on the base, and the correct SKU number 48 on the packaging. Because Funko does not provide individual certificates of authenticity for standard vinyl figures, visual inspection of the box seal, font consistency, and figure weight is the primary method for verification. If the item exhibits significant paint errors, misaligned eyes, or packaging defects inconsistent with the 2020 production run, it may be a counterfeit, but definitive authentication often requires comparison against known genuine examples from that year.
The Jimmy Carter Pop! Icons was released in 2020 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Jimmy Carter Pop! Icons figure, so it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from official retail channels. This item is now considered out of print, meaning availability is limited to the secondary market where prices may fluctuate based on condition and demand.
There is no official third-party grading service for Funko Pop! vinyl figures, so you cannot obtain a certified grade for this item. To condition-check the figure, inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, or mold lines, and verify that the eyes are properly aligned and free of defects. Additionally, examine the box for any dents, tears, or signs of tampering, as the packaging condition significantly impacts the item's value.
