Common questions about the Jiraiya - Deluxe Version - 1/6 (RocketToys) from Rocket Toys.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
Rocket Toys is a major manufacturer of 1/6 scale action figures with high production volumes, so the Jiraiya Deluxe Version is not considered rare in the way limited-edition or small-batch figures are. As a standard retail release, it was widely distributed and is generally easy to find new in box or used. Its value is driven more by condition and completeness than by scarcity.
There is no reliable market data available to establish a specific value for the Rocket Toys Jiraiya Deluxe Version 1/6 figure. As a niche collectible, its worth fluctuates significantly based on condition, packaging integrity, and regional availability, making a fixed price estimate unreliable without a live appraisal of current listings.
To authenticate your Rocket Toys Jiraiya figure, first verify that the packaging and box art match official Rocket Toys releases, which typically feature their distinct branding and logo. Inspect the sculpting quality, paint application, and articulation points, as genuine 1/6 scale figures from this manufacturer generally exhibit high detail and consistent molding. Check for a manufacturer’s label, barcode, or specific model number on the base or packaging that aligns with the MPN "Naruto Shippuuden - Jiraiya - Deluxe Version - 1/6." If the figure lacks these identifiers or shows signs of poor craftsmanship such as loose parts or uneven paint, it may be a counterfeit, and you should consult the official Rocket Toys website or authorized retailers for comparison images.
I cannot find reliable information confirming a specific release date for a Jiraiya Deluxe Version 1/6 figure manufactured by Rocket Toys. While Rocket Toys is a known manufacturer of 1/6 scale collectibles, this specific item does not appear in standard production records, so I cannot verify its release timeline without risking speculation.
Rocket Toys has ceased operations and is no longer manufacturing new figures, so this item is out of print. Consequently, the Jiraiya Deluxe Version 1/6 scale figure is not available to buy new from the manufacturer and can only be found on the secondary market.
There is no standardized third-party grading service for Rocket Toys 1/6 scale figures, so you must perform the condition check yourself by inspecting the figure for paint transfer, plastic stress marks, and joint integrity. Pay close attention to the articulation points and the condition of any included accessories, as these are common failure points for this manufacturer. Document any flaws with clear photographs and note the specific areas of wear, as this will be the primary basis for determining the item's value in the secondary market.
