The Joan Jett Pop! Rocks figure (SKU 265) is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production run released in 2022. These figures were widely available through major retailers and Funko's own channels, meaning they are generally easy to find in new condition.
The Joan Jett Pop! Rocks figure (SKU 265) is a standard retail collectible that typically trades for approximately $10 to $15 in new, sealed condition. As a common release from 2022, it does not carry a significant premium over its original retail price, and its value is generally stable within the secondary market.
To authenticate a 2022 Funko Pop! Rocks Joan Jett (SKU 265), first verify that the packaging is the original sealed blister card with the correct Funko logo and product information. Inspect the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, sharp molding details, and the absence of flash marks or seams that would indicate a counterfeit. While specific SKU numbers are often not printed on the figure itself, the item should match the official 2022 release specifications for the Pop! Rocks line, and any significant deviations in color or proportion suggest it is not genuine.
The Joan Jett Pop! Rocks was released in 2022 by Funko.
The 2022 Joan Jett Pop! Rocks (SKU 265) is no longer in print and is not currently available to buy new from Funko. As a limited-edition item from that year, it has been discontinued, meaning new stock is no longer produced or sold through official channels.
Condition-checking a Joan Jett Pop! Rocks figure involves inspecting the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chipping, and molding defects, particularly around the hair and facial features. You should also verify that the figure is securely seated in its base and that the packaging is free from significant creases, tears, or fading, as these factors significantly impact resale value. While Funko does not offer official grading services, third-party platforms like PopGraded provide standardized grading, though the cost of grading often exceeds the market value of standard, ungraded figures.
