The Jonathan Van Ness (Pink Dress) Pop! Television figure is not considered rare, as it was a standard mass-production release from 2023. It was widely distributed through major retailers and Funko’s own channels, making it relatively easy to find in new condition. While specific color variants or limited editions can be harder to locate, the standard SKU 1427 figure is a common collectible item.
The Jonathan Van Ness (Pink Dress) Pop! Television (SKU 1427) is a 2023 release that typically sells for around $12 to $15 in retail stores. In the secondary market, unopened copies generally trade between $10 and $15, with prices fluctuating based on current demand and local availability.
To authenticate your Jonathan Van Ness (Pink Dress) Pop! Television, verify that the figure matches the official Funko SKU 1427 and check for consistent paint application, particularly on the pink dress and facial features. Inspect the packaging for the correct Funko logo, barcode, and copyright date, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing or poor-quality plastic. You can also compare the figure's dimensions and articulation points against known genuine examples, noting that authentic Funko Pops typically have a specific weight and smooth finish. If the item lacks a verifiable serial number or appears to be a third-party reproduction, it is likely not an official release.

Funko does not publicly release specific print run termination dates or real-time inventory status for individual Pop! figures, so there is no definitive public record confirming whether SKU 1427 is currently in print. While this figure was released in 2023, availability for new units fluctuates based on retailer stock and production cycles, meaning it may be out of stock at major retailers even if the line is still active. You should check current inventory on Funko’s official website or authorized retailers to determine if new copies are available for purchase.
You can grade this figure through professional third-party services like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on specific criteria such as paint application, seam lines, and plastic clarity. For a basic condition check without a formal grade, inspect the vinyl for any visible scratches, discoloration, or "flash" (excess plastic) around the edges and joints. Ensure the pink dress details are crisp and that the figure's head and hands are free from manufacturing defects, as these are common areas for flaws in mass-produced vinyl items.
