The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Jughead Jones Pop! Television figure (SKU 589) is not considered rare, as it was a standard mass-production release from 2018. It was widely distributed through major retailers and Funko's own channels, making it a common item in the collectible market.
The standard retail price for the 2018 Jughead Jones Pop! Television figure (SKU 589) was approximately $12.99. As a common, mass-produced item from a popular series, its current market value is typically at or below retail price, often found for less than $10 on secondary markets. Specific variants like Chase editions or exclusive releases may command higher prices, but the standard version does not have significant collector value.
To authenticate your 2018 Jughead Jones Pop! Television (SKU 589), verify that the box features the standard Funko logo and that the figure itself has the correct proportions, specifically the large head and small body characteristic of the line. Check that the packaging is sealed with the original shrink wrap and that the SKU 589 is clearly printed on the box, as this specific number corresponds to the 2018 release. If the paint quality, eye detail, or box printing appears off compared to known genuine examples, the item may be a counterfeit.
The Jughead Jones Pop! Television was released in 2018 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Jughead Jones Pop! Television figure (SKU 589), so it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from the manufacturer. This item is now only available through the secondary market, such as resale platforms or collector-to-collector sales, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
There is no standardized third-party grading service for individual Funko Pop! figures, so you cannot obtain a certified grade for this item. To condition-check it, inspect the vinyl for scratches, paint chips, or mold seams and verify that the figure is securely seated in its original box with the window intact. Check the box for any damage, fading, or missing stickers, as these factors significantly impact resale value.
