No, the K-2SO (set 75120) is not considered rare. It was a standard retail release produced in large quantities by LEGO in 2016, making it widely available on the secondary market. While it is a popular set among Star Wars collectors, its high production volume means it does not carry the scarcity premium associated with limited-edition or discontinued niche items.
The K-2SO originally retailed for $24.99. Live secondary-market data isn't indexed yet — check eBay sold listings for current value.
To authenticate your LEGO set 75120, first verify that the box is sealed with the correct holographic sticker and that the printed SKU and MPN match the official 75120 designation. Inspect the physical components for high-quality molding, consistent color saturation, and the presence of the LEGO logo on the studs, as counterfeits often feature blurry printing or poor plastic texture. You can further confirm authenticity by cross-referencing the set's specific part numbers and color codes against the official LEGO inventory database.

Lego set 75120 K-2SO was retired from the official catalog in 2017 and is no longer in print. It is not available to buy new directly from Lego, so current availability is limited to third-party retailers and the secondary market.
Grading a LEGO set like the K-2SO (75120) involves inspecting the physical condition of the minifigure and any included accessories, focusing on common issues such as print fading, plastic yellowing, or missing parts. For the set itself, check for box damage, missing instructions, and the presence of all original packaging components. While third-party grading services like PSA exist for LEGO, they are not as standardized for individual minifigures as they are for cards, so most collectors assess value based on the item's completeness and visual state.
