The Kane with Facehugger Pop! Movies (SKU 1987) is not considered rare; it is a standard production item from the 2026 release wave. As a regular edition figure, it is widely available through major retailers and does not carry limited edition numbering or exclusive markings.
I cannot provide a reliable market value for this item because the 2026 release date indicates it is a future or pre-release product, meaning it has not yet established a consistent secondary market price.
To authenticate your Kane with Facehugger Pop! Movies, first verify the SKU 1987 matches the official Funko catalog for the 2026 release. Inspect the vinyl for consistent molding, sharp details, and a secure, centered base. Check the box for the correct barcode, copyright date, and the official Funko logo, and compare the figure’s paint application against high-resolution images from Funko’s official site or trusted collector databases. If the item lacks a verifiable SKU match or shows signs of poor molding or off-center base, it may be a counterfeit or a different variant.

Based on the provided data, the item is listed with a 2026 year, which suggests it is a future release or a recent addition to the catalog. To condition-check a Funko Pop! figure, inspect the vinyl surface for scratches, scuffs, or paint defects, and verify that the facehugger accessory is securely attached and free of cracks. Check the box for dents, tears, or faded printing, as these affect resale value. For formal grading, send the figure to a third-party service like PSA or Beckett, which will assign a numerical grade based on paint, molding, and packaging integrity.
