The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Kane with Facehugger Pop! Movies (SKU 1987) is not considered rare; it is a standard production item from Funko's 2026 release schedule. As a regular edition figure, it is widely available through major retailers and does not carry the limited production numbers or special packaging that typically define rarity in the collectibles market.
The Kane with Facehugger Pop! Movies (SKU 1987) is a 2026 release, meaning it is a very recent addition to the collection. As a new item, its value is currently anchored to its retail price, typically around $12.00 to $15.00, with secondary market prices fluctuating based on availability and demand. Since the figure is not yet established in the collector market, its worth is best assessed by comparing current retail listings and early resale trends rather than relying on historical data.
To authenticate your Kane with Facehugger Pop! Movies figure, first verify the SKU 1987 against Funko's official catalog to confirm the item exists in the 2026 release window. Inspect the physical figure for consistent paint application, sharp molding, and a secure, undamaged base, as these are common indicators of a genuine product. Check the box for a clear, undamaged holographic sticker and a legible barcode that matches the SKU. If the packaging or figure shows signs of tampering, inconsistent font on the label, or poor paint quality, it may be a counterfeit or a defective unit, so cross-reference the serial number or batch code with Funko's customer service if available.

To grade a Kane with Facehugger Pop! Movies, you should inspect the figure for common defects such as paint misalignment, seam lines, or chipped plastic, paying close attention to the facehugger attachment point. For a formal grade, send the item to a professional service like PSA or Collectors Club, which will assess it on a 1-10 scale based on surface quality and structural integrity. Since this is a 2026 release, ensure the box is in mint condition if you plan to submit it for grading, as box condition can affect the final score.
