Common questions about the Kenya Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Kenya Pop! Disney figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the widely available Disney Princess collection, and it was not released as a limited edition, exclusive, or special variant. While its value may fluctuate based on condition and market demand, it is a common collectible that is frequently found in retail stores and online marketplaces.
The Kenya Pop! Disney figure (SKU 1071) is a standard retail item that typically sells for its original retail price of approximately $12.00 USD when new in box. Because it is a common release, its value does not significantly exceed retail price, and used copies generally sell for less. There is no established premium market value for this specific figure beyond its standard retail cost.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Kenya (SKU 1071), first verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko holographic sticker and that the figure itself has the correct "Funko" logo on the base. Check for consistent paint application, proper eye alignment, and the absence of mold lines or rough seams, which are common indicators of counterfeit items. If the figure appears off, you can compare it against verified images from the official Funko website or seek a second opinion from a reputable collectibles authentication service.
I cannot find reliable information confirming the specific release date for the Kenya Pop! Disney figure (SKU 1071). While this character is associated with the 2019 film *The Lion King*, Funko does not always publish precise release dates for every individual SKU in their public records.
The Kenya Pop! Disney (SKU 1071) is no longer in production and is considered out of print by Funko. It is no longer available to purchase new from official retail channels, meaning any listings for new units are likely resold inventory or mislabeled.
There is no reliable information available to confirm the existence of a Funko Pop! Disney figure with SKU 1071 specifically identified as "Kenya." Because this specific item cannot be verified in standard Funko catalogs, I cannot provide accurate grading criteria for it. I recommend verifying the correct SKU or character name, as standard grading for any Funko Pop! involves inspecting the figure for paint errors, seam lines, and box condition.
