The Kevin McCallister Pop! Movies figure (SKU 491) is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production run released in 2017. Because it was widely distributed through major retail channels and has been in circulation for several years, it is generally easy to find in both new and used conditions.
The value of a Kevin McCallister Pop! Movies figure (SKU 491) fluctuates based on condition and market demand, but it typically sells for between $10 and $20 in retail condition. Because this is a standard production figure from 2017 rather than a limited edition, it does not command a premium price. You can check current listings on secondary marketplaces like eBay to see real-time selling prices, which often range from $8 to $15 for unopened boxes.
To authenticate your Kevin McCallister Pop! Movies (SKU 491), first verify that the box is sealed with the standard Funko holographic sticker and that the vinyl figure itself has the "Funko" logo molded on the base. Check for consistent paint application and sharp sculpting details, as counterfeit figures often exhibit blurry features, off-color paint, or a plastic feel rather than the standard vinyl texture. While there is no single definitive test for home buyers, comparing your figure side-by-side with high-resolution images of the authentic 2017 release can help identify discrepancies in proportion or finish.

The Kevin McCallister Pop! Movies figure (SKU 491) is currently out of print and is no longer sold new by Funko. While it may occasionally appear on the secondary market through third-party resellers, it is not available for purchase directly from the manufacturer.
Condition-checking a Kevin McCallister Pop! primarily involves inspecting the vinyl figure for paint transfer, hairline cracks, or chipped edges, particularly on the head and hands. You should also verify that the figure is securely seated in the base and that the original box is free from significant wear, creases, or damage. While third-party grading services like PSA can provide a standardized condition score, most collectors simply assess the item visually for these common defects.
