Common questions about the Kevin Pop! Movies from Funko (2016).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Kevin Pop! Movies figure (SKU 306) is not considered rare. It was part of the standard 2016 release of the *Kevin Hart: I’m Not Here* movie line and was widely distributed in retail stores. As a mass-produced item from a major manufacturer, it is generally available on the secondary market and does not carry the scarcity associated with limited edition or exclusive variants.
The value of a Kevin Pop! Movies figure (SKU 306) varies significantly based on its condition, whether it is in the original box, and current market demand. As a standard 2016 release, the unboxed figure typically sells for a modest amount, while a sealed, mint-condition item in its original packaging commands a higher price. For the most accurate and up-to-date valuation, you should check recent completed sales on secondary marketplaces like eBay.
To authenticate your 2016 Kevin Pop! (SKU 306), first verify that the figure is a solid vinyl production with a smooth, uniform finish rather than a soft or rubbery texture. Check the base of the figure for a clean, molded "Funko" logo and ensure the paint application is consistent without significant bleeding or air bubbles. You can also compare the specific proportions and facial features against high-resolution images of the official 2016 release, as counterfeit versions often exhibit distorted eyes or misaligned limbs. If the figure lacks a box, the absence of a license sticker on the base does not automatically indicate it is fake, as many vintage Funkos were sold without external packaging.
The Kevin Pop! Movies was released in 2016 by Funko.
The Kevin Pop! Movies (SKU 306) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. It is a discontinued item from the 2016 release year, so any new copies currently on the market are likely resold inventory or counterfeits.
Condition-checking a Kevin Pop! Movie figure primarily involves inspecting the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, or scuffs, which are common on the head and limbs. You should also examine the plastic base for cracks, warping, or discoloration, as these defects significantly impact value. If the figure came with a box, verify that the packaging is free of major tears, creases, or water damage, as a mint box is required for a high-grade appraisal.
