Common questions about the Key Demon Pop! Movies from Funko (2023).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Key Demon Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item released in 2023. It was widely available through major retailers and Funko's own channels, meaning it does not have the limited print run or exclusivity status that typically defines rarity in the collectibles market.
The Key Demon Pop! Movies vinyl figure (SKU 1459) is a standard retail release from 2023, and its value is typically determined by its condition and whether it remains sealed in its original box. As a common movie character figure, it does not command a premium price in the secondary market, generally trading for amounts close to its original retail price or slightly less if opened. Specific market fluctuations depend on local demand, but it is not considered a rare or high-value collectible.
To authenticate your Key Demon Pop! Movies figure, first verify that the SKU 1459 and 2023 production date are printed on the box, as these align with the official release specifications. Examine the figure for high-quality paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the standard Funko logo on the base, which are hallmarks of genuine production. If the packaging feels flimsy, the colors appear faded, or the figure lacks the expected weight and solidity, it is likely a counterfeit. For definitive confirmation, you can compare your item against verified listings on established resale platforms or consult with a local collectibles dealer.

I cannot find reliable information confirming that the Key Demon Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1459) is currently in print or available for purchase new from Funko. As a 2023 release, it is likely no longer stocked in standard retail channels, and availability is typically limited to secondary market sellers.
There is no official grading service for standard retail Funko Pop! vinyl figures, so you cannot submit this item to a third-party company for a certified grade. To assess its condition, you should inspect the vinyl for manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, or misaligned eyes, and verify that the figure is in its original, unopened box with an intact seal. If the box is damaged or the figure is loose, it is considered open-box and will have significantly lower resale value compared to a sealed, mint-condition item.
