The Killer Crowns Pop! [Fantastik Plastik] is not considered rare because it was a standard Special Edition release available to the general public in 2022, rather than a limited-run or exclusive item. While Special Editions typically have lower production numbers than standard vinyl figures, this specific variant was widely distributed and is not a scarce collectible.
The value of the 2022 Killer Crowns Pop! [Fantastik Plastik] Funko Special-Edition varies significantly based on condition, with sealed figures typically commanding a premium over opened ones. Because this is a limited special edition, prices are driven by collector demand and can fluctuate, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay or StockX is the most reliable way to determine its current market value.
Authenticating a 2022 Killer Crowns Pop! Special Edition requires verifying that the figure is sealed in its original box with the specific "Killer Crowns" branding and the "Fantastik Plastik" logo clearly visible on the packaging. Examine the vinyl for consistent paint application and sharp molding details, as counterfeit figures often exhibit blurry printing, uneven seams, or off-color hues. Because Funko does not provide a public serial number database for individual Special Edition figures, checking the box for tamper-evident seals and ensuring the figure matches official reference photos from reputable retailers is the most reliable method for verification.
The Killer Crowns Pop! [Fantastik Plastik] Funko Special-Edition (SE) was released in 2022 by Funko.
The Killer Crowns Pop! [Fantastik Plastik] Special Edition is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As a limited special edition released in 2022, it has been discontinued, meaning new stock is no longer produced or sold through official retail channels.
Condition-checking this figure involves inspecting the vinyl for stress cracks, particularly around the joints and the crown, as well as verifying that the paint application is free of scratches or fading. You should also examine the packaging for any signs of tampering, such as lifted seals or creased corners, since Special-Edition items often command higher premiums when sealed. While third-party grading services like CGC can provide a standardized score, the market for this specific 2022 release is generally driven by the integrity of the original box and the figure's unopened state.
