Common questions about the Kim Pine Pop! Movies from Funko (2020).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Kim Pine Pop! Movies figure (SKU 945) is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard 2020 retail release for the *The Big Short* movie line. These figures were widely available through major retailers and Funko's own online store during that period, making them common in the secondary market.
The Kim Pine Pop! Movies figure (SKU 945) is a standard retail item that typically sells for between $10 and $15 in new, unopened condition. Because it is a common release from 2020, it does not command a premium price in the secondary market, and opened figures generally have little to no resale value.
To authenticate your Kim Pine Pop! Movies figure, first verify that the box features the official Funko logo, the correct SKU number 945, and a holographic security sticker. Examine the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper eye alignment, and the specific sculpted details of the character, as counterfeit items often exhibit sloppy molding or off-color plastics. You can also cross-reference the packaging and figure against images from Funko's official website or reputable collector databases to ensure all design elements match the 2020 release specifications.
The Kim Pine Pop! Movies was released in 2020 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Kim Pine Pop! Movies figure (SKU 945), meaning it is no longer in print or available to purchase new from the manufacturer. While it may occasionally appear as a used item on secondary markets, you should not expect to find it in stock at retail stores.
Condition-checking a Kim Pine Pop! Movies figure primarily involves inspecting the vinyl surface for common manufacturing defects such as seam lines, flash, or paint overspray, as well as checking for any chips or scratches on the figure itself. You should also examine the included accessories, specifically the microphone and the stand, for any loose parts, discoloration, or damage. If the figure is in its original packaging, verify that the box is free of significant dings, creases, or shelf wear, and ensure the window is clear and undamaged.
