Common questions about the King Moonracer Pop! Movies from Funko (2024).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the King Moonracer Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released by Funko in 2024 as part of their regular movie licensing lineup, meaning it was manufactured in large quantities and is widely available through major retailers.
As a 2024 release, the King Moonracer Pop! Movies figure is currently in the new-to-market phase, so its value is primarily determined by its original retail price, typically ranging between $12 and $15. Because the item is recent and likely still widely available, it does not yet command a premium in the secondary market. Collectors should expect the price to remain stable or fluctuate slightly based on local stock availability until the item becomes harder to find.
To authenticate a King Moonracer Pop! Movies figure, first verify that the packaging displays the correct SKU 1570 and the 2024 release year, as this specific item is a recent addition to the Funko catalog. Inspect the physical figure for high-quality molding, consistent paint application, and the official Funko logo on the base, noting that genuine items typically feature sharp details without excessive flash or misaligned parts. If the figure lacks a box, check for the embossed Funko logo on the bottom of the figure's feet, which is standard for authentic production. If you cannot confirm these specific manufacturing details against a known genuine example, I cannot definitively verify its authenticity without physical inspection.
The King Moonracer Pop! Movies was released in 2024 by Funko.
Funko has not publicly announced that the King Moonracer Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1570) is discontinued, so it is technically still in print. However, because it is a 2024 release, it may be out of stock at major retailers and often requires checking secondary markets like eBay or Amazon for new, sealed copies.
Condition-checking a King Moonracer Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl for surface scratches, paint transfer, or molding defects, while also verifying that the box is free of significant shelf wear, creases, or damage. Since this item is a 2024 release, it is unlikely to be sent to a third-party grading service like PSA, which typically focuses on older collectibles, so its value is primarily determined by its sealed condition and the integrity of the original packaging.
