Common questions about the Kit & Doggy Pop! Disney from Funko (2022).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Kit & Doggy Pop! Disney (SKU 1238) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure released by Funko in 2022 as part of the Disney series, and it was widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces. Because it was a common release rather than a limited edition or exclusive variant, it does not carry the scarcity value associated with rare collectibles.
The value of a Funko Pop! Kit & Doggy (SKU 1238) varies significantly based on condition, with unopened figures typically selling for around $10 to $15 while opened figures often range from $5 to $8. As a common release from 2022, this item does not command a premium price in the secondary market. Prices can fluctuate slightly depending on current local demand and shipping costs, so checking recent sold listings on platforms like eBay provides the most accurate real-time valuation.
To authenticate your 2022 Kit & Doggy Pop! (SKU 1238), verify that the box features the standard Funko Pop! branding and that the vinyl figure has the characteristic glossy finish and consistent paint application typical of the manufacturer. Check the bottom of the figure for a molded "Funko" logo and ensure the packaging includes a holographic sticker, which is standard for recent releases. If the figure feels lightweight, has rough seams, or the box lacks proper printing quality, it may be a counterfeit, so comparing it to verified images of the authentic SKU 1238 is recommended.
The Kit & Doggy Pop! Disney was released in 2022 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Kit & Doggy Pop! Disney figure, meaning it is no longer in print or available for purchase directly from the manufacturer. As a result, new copies are typically only found through third-party retailers, secondary markets, or resale platforms where prices may fluctuate based on availability.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, seams, or scratches, as well as verifying that the head is properly aligned and not loose. You should also examine the box for any damage, creases, or fading, since the packaging significantly impacts the item's value. While professional grading services like PSA can assign a numerical grade to sealed items, most collectors assess condition visually by comparing the figure and box against known standards for the 2022 release.
