Funko has discontinued the Kong with Battle Axe Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1021), so it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from official retail channels. Collectors seeking this item must look for used or pre-owned copies on the secondary market, where prices often exceed the original retail value due to its limited availability.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, misaligned eyes, or seams, as well as any physical damage like cracks or chips. For the Kong with Battle Axe figure, pay particular attention to the integrity of the axe accessory, as it is a separate piece that is prone to snapping at the joints. While professional grading services like PSA can assign a numerical grade based on these factors, most collectors simply assess the item as "mint in box" (MIB) if it remains sealed in its original packaging without any visible damage to the box or figure.
